Danielle & Roger

I have known Roger for a long time, and we had the privilege to meet his girlfriend Danielle a few years ago when they came home to Newfoundland during Christmas.  Earlier this year we got the news that Roger had asked Danielle to be his wife, and they have a wedding planned for 2012, in Ontario. While they were home for a summer visit I suggested they do an engagement shoot.  We went down to the beach right before sunset, and got some very beautiful shots.  You guys are such a fun couple to be around, and are truly meant to be together.
I can not wait to sneak in a few pictures at your wedding.

Cynthia & Travis

Would you believe that the first day I met Cynthia was the day of her wedding? Its true!! I had spoken with Cynthia a few times over the phone, but did not meet the bride or groom until the day of their wedding.  When woke up on the day of the wedding it was foggy and half looking like it was going to rain.  Luckily enough, by the time Cynthia's hair was done, the fog was lifted, and the sun was out!  Cynthia made a beautiful bride, and both Cynthia and Travis shared a very memorable day with their little girl Bella.

Up And Running!!

Hi Everyone,
After a busy summer of pictures, I decided it was about time for me to set up something dedicated to just that, my photography!  I tossed around the idea of launching a full on website but thought this would be a little less formal.  I will be using this blog to talk about and preview my sessions and to let you know about the new things I will be offering. I have been throwing around a couple ideas, and I hope you guys will be as excited about them as I am.
For the first few posts, I have added some pictures that I had compiled on my Facebook page. Look at them by selecting a title from my blog archive.  From now on, each session will up uploaded as they happen and are processed.
I look forward to your feedback.
Cheers!

New York New York

Christmas 2009 was so stressful, right up until a week before Christmas, I had NO idea of what to get Jamie ( and this year is looking just as bad).  To make a long story short, I ended up telling him to pick a NHL game, and we would go to it.  To my delight, he chose a game between Montreal and New Jersey at the end of January 2010.  I'm not a big fan of hockey, but loved the fact that the game was in New Jersey.  This meant a trip to The Big Apple!

Neither of us had been to New York before so it was a real treat.  There was so much to see and do, the four days we spent down there was nowhere near enough to get it all in (I can see a trip back in our future).

Friday night we went to the hockey game, I actually have to admit, I got into it once we were there.
Saturday and Sunday we were the typical tourists, we got on the train, and went straight into Manhattan.
On Saturday we walked around Manhattan, went to Time Square, visited Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum, toured the Empire State Building, and The Top of The Rock, we also made a stop at Rockerfeller Center, before getting a horse and carriage ride back to the train station.
Sunday was somewhat the same, we took the train right into Grand Central Station, went upstairs and  did a tour of Madison Square Garden where we got to see the New York Knicks warm up for their game against the Dallas Mavericks.  We also visited the Museum of Natural History, and spent the evening walking around Central Park.

On Monday before we left to come home, we made sure to do some outlet shopping.  We hopped in a cab, and went a few blocks over to Jersey Gardens...I won't go into details, but let me just say we had to buy another suitcase to get us home.

Overall we had a fantastic trip (our only complaint was that it wasn't long enough), and I got some awesome photos, which are now framed in our house.

2010...So Far So Good!

2010 has been my busiest year for pictures yet.  From family and friends, to babies and weddings, and everything in between, I think this year I have done it all.  For this blog, because there are so many different sessions, I will only add a few pictures from each.  From here on, each session will have its own post so you will get to see even more of my work.

Michelle, David, & Baby Evan

Baby Evan was born early in January. A few weeks later, after mom, dad and Evan got home and settled into their routine, and I got back from our trip to NYC ( separate post coming up) , we decided to get some shots of the little guy before he started to grow to much.

Vivian, Karl, Madison, and Baby Who?

Vivian is my aunt, and Madison my godchild, so I think I may have been the one to suggest this session.  Madison was so excited to be a big sister, and Vivian and Karl were curious to find out if their new addition was going to be a boy or a girl.

Ballerina Brooke
This year, Brook started dance lessons.  At the end of the dance season, Brooke was so excited to get to dance on the "big stage" at her recital.  She told me she loved her costume because it was two of her favorite colors, Pink and Purple!!

Welcoming Baby Mallory Maria...

No more curiosity for parents Vivian and Karl, or big sister Madison....Baby Mallory is here!  Vivian, Karl, & Madison welcomed an 8lb baby Mallory, on March 14th.  Mallory looks identical to her dad, and is always a very pleasant baby.
