So for this post, I figured we could all catch up! You will find a variety of pictures taken so far in 2011.
First of all, I got new studio lighting!!So I enlisted some family members to practice on!
My Cousin Brent
Brent and his mom Viola
My cousins Brent & Mallory ( Mallory is Brent's godchild)
The next few pictures were taken out home when I was babysitting Mallory for Vivian!
Here are a few pictures capturing the building of our new patio, and showing the finished product! Also, a few showing the spare room that I painted...I forgot to do a before shot of the room, but use your imagination...it was all contractor beige!
In July, both Jamie and myself were part of a wedding, and were thrilled to do so. Here are a few pictures from the rehearsal dinner, and a few from the wedding ( these two pictures were taken by Madonna's aunt Margaret). Thanks again to Madonna and Curtis for having us be part of your special day!
Andrew is married to Curtis' cousin Michelle, and is not from Newfoundland. At the rehearsal party, the night before the wedding, Andrew had the chance to eat his first ever cold plate! So this HAD to be captured as a picture!!
Phyllis getting bite by bite feedback, on Andrew's cold plate experience.
On the way back to town after the wedding, Jamie and I were talking about how we had never been to many of the communities on the Burin Peninsula, even tho we had passed by them many many times. It was a nice day, so we decided to drive out through the community of Garden Cove. I want to say it was your typical Newfoundland finishing community with a view. And it even has its own tourist attraction...theres this little shed at the end of the community, that is decorated with all kinds of things! Take a look!
Finally before Jamie left to go back to work, we decided to take in some of the festivities of George Street Festival! Here are a couple pictures I took during the Masterless Men's performance. What a fun night!!
So thats what you missed! Stay tuned for more blog posts in the near future. I've had a couple sessions, that I hope to get posted soon, and another few to do in the next few weeks!
